Publix tour

Took a tour of Publix last week with the playgroup...Went through all the different areas....my favorite was the stock area. The girls liked the freezer best. Which I chose to stay out of!

Layla Shaye 7lbs 3oz

Layla has arrived...doing beautifully....here's a pic of the beautiful girl. Now if we can just get everyone to stop calling her a HE : )

Holy Cross Summer Arts Camp

The girls went to Holy Cross camp for 2 weeks and last night they performed the finale "Broadway Kids Style". They performed about 11 songs...Broadway bound, Do-Re-Mi, I Won't Grow Up, There's No Business...to name a few. The pictures didn't come out great at all....my friend told me to turn off my flash which helped a bit but they still aren't great. At camp they worked with a dance instructor Ms Lorraine and they loved her so much that they FINALLY have an interest in dance. They will be going to a week of Dance camp at the end of July consisting of Ballet, Musical Theatre, Jazz/Hip hop. I hope they enjoy it because since they were 3 I haven't been able to get them back into dance. Not such a great experience with Ballet at 3 years old!! I'd love them to do it throughout the school year. They really enjoyed performing last night!

Nanny and Pop visit

Here are some pic of the trip to the beach...We were out running some storms that day, we saw the lighting and heard the thunder, which made Nanny a panic but all was ok and we didn't run into rain until the long long drive home.

The pic of Nanny and Erin would have been better as a video cause they were laughing so hard from being bounced and bumped around at the front of the boat...I haven't heard either of them laugh like that in a long time!

Too close for comfort

here's a few pictures that Kevin took of a brush fire that was a little too close for comfort!!

I can't even begin to imagine how the people felt in the houses that were right near it. I'm guessing the fire was about a mile from us.

One was taken from our driveway and the others were taken at the entrance to the school, which is just across the street from us.
